I am looking for a place to buy locally themed Christmas ornaments for a friend who likes to visit the area. I used to go to 'Tis the Season for this but they closed. I'd love to get something like a hand-painted Grayton Beach ornament. Any suggestions???

Buy a clear ornament and fill it with some sand and a few tiny shells. Add a bit of glitter and a aqua blue bow.

Done and done.

Eastern Lake Nursery (old Gourd Garden) has some funky metal ornaments that say Rosemary, Grayton, etc.

The Hula gallery (next to Sherwin Williams) has had funky ornaments in the past, but dunno if they had place names on them.

Fired Up in Seaside will let you make/personalize ornaments.

I am also a fan of the glass ornaments at Fusion or the seashell ornaments at many locales.

oh how I love to ornament shop! my best finds have been in Appalachicola. But, there should be plenty around here as well. Blue Giraffe in WaterColor may have some. shops of Grayton - not sure what is there these days. Rosemary Beach and Seaside shops should have plenty to choose from. I found some simple white porcelain seashells at Pizitz Seaside.
scooty is right - Fusion has beautiful glass ornaments!!!

oh! Dwight, and artist/potter at the artists shops at Gulf Place has some wonderful glass wine bottle bottoms he has melted into glass rings. they are funky and I have used several of these as ornaments. Love these! about $8 each.
