Have any of you out there who happen to have LiveOak had connectivity issues the past couple weeks? Ours drops about every couple hours for about 5 to 10 minutes before reconnecting.

Trying to figure out if it's a "me" thing or a system thing.

Thanks!

Have you called them?
Of course I have, but since it's new to the area I'm just tryibg to gauge their service level. Of course, I have to do the escalation game with them because the person who works the scripted options couldn't find a solution.

Frustrating

Several of my neighbors switched to Live Oak and some had initial problems. After another service call, it was determined that the installation / setup was done incorrectly. Haven't heard about ongoing problems since. May be worth scheduling (?)

Same here. I had a neighbor who had a similar problem. It took a couple of service calls to determine that the installer had put a connector on incorrectly. No problems since.

Let us know how it works out. I've been thinking of ditching Mediacon and switching to live oak.
We got it figured out. We're using their equipment in a non-traditional way in a "bridged" mode as all the networking in the house is done through an internal router. It's a smart house for sure and is hard wired for most all networking capabilities. We worked with LiveOak who were very helpful in getting some settings changed. After that and some firmware updates on our end it has been flawless. I would make the jump if I were you. The $54 deal may still be out there, and you can lock it in forever for a few extra bucks

I wish I had it in my neighborhood!

They are helping me get the Seagrove Skycam camera back online ... customer service has been helpful, I have talked with many different people and all have been professional and helpful ... just waiting on one final step!
