For those of you that haven't looked @ Linux OS in a while, check out the latest versions, http://www.linuxmint.com/. Much more user friendly and bundled like never before. I recommend checking out the Linux Mint 10 "Julia" version http://blog.linuxmint.com/?p=1581 as it is a little older and known to be stable. Since Linux doesn't take up much space, I currently use a dual boot. I can choose to run windows 7 or Linux Mint 10 on my laptop. You can also download and boot from a DVD.
