Krewe of Wee-De-Leis: Mardi Gras Celebration

Join Seaside for the Third Annual 4KIDS Mardi Gras Parade. The parade starts at 2pm in front of 4KIDS on the south side of 30A and all kids are welcome (both the young and young at heart)! Visit the store between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to make your own mask and other creative crafts.

This five-man band has a steady focus on tradition that sets them apart from the newest wave of 'pop Zydeco' bands. Don't miss live music from the bayou guaranteed to keep your toes tapping all night long!

Jambalaya Cook-off and Pet Costume Contest

Jambalaya Cook-Off and Pet Costume Contest at HarborWalk Village. Let your pets enjoy the Mardi Gras festivities at this benefit for the Destin Harvest while enjoying Jambalaya from your favorite restaurants on the harbor. Dress your pets in their snazziest Mardi Gras costumes and show off their special trick and their owners.
Krewe of Arfeous Dog Parade
Location: Village of Baytowne Wharf - 2:00 p.m.
The Village hosts a Mystic Krewe of Arfeous Mardi Gras dog parade. The 2009 parade is themed Indiana Bones and the Tale of the Hairy Paws. The streets will be filled with costumed dogs and their humans throwing a myriad of throws, beads, and parade favors. Themed convertibles, small floats (especially pulled by masters), golf carts, bicycles, and decorated wagons will be everywhere and Mardi Gras music will fill the air.
