Yesterday at our business meeting at Keller Williams Destin office, Tiffanie Shelton, founder of Food For Thought Outreach Inc, came and spoke to us agents about her charity. She told us of true stories of kids in Walton County as young as 5 years old, who go to school on Mondays not have eaten a meal at home. So many kids in our local community have to fend for themselves at home to eat. This brought tears to my eyes as I realize how some days get really busy and I'm not sure what I'm going to feed my kids for dinner, but I never even think of NOT feeding them.
At Keller Williams, we have chosen to support Food For Thought on our annual KW Red Day on May 14, 2015. We hope you will join us for lunch at our Destin office. $10/plate donation and all proceeds benefit Food For Thought.
