South Walton's Jim Poteet and daughter Laura collaborate to create furniture + art...

Father's Day 2014 will be a special one for me! My daughter Laura, who lives in Virginia, sent me a photograph of a painting on which she was working. I was really struck with the beauty of the landscape and it's colors, and immediately thought of creating a rustic table and some chairs that together might made a a wonderful vignette.

That was months ago, and today those thoughts have become a reality! I thought Father's Day the perfect time, and the Studio Gallery the perfect venue to present our first joint effort! Jim Poteet
