International Coastal Cleanup returns to South Walton on Saturday, September 15th from 9-11 am. This year Friends of South Walton Sea Turtles and Walton County will be hosting the event at 5 Regional Beach Access points with easily available parking, bathrooms and easy boardwalk access to the beach.
Our community is joining forces with millions of people world wide to clean shores. It's a really Big Deal and we invite you to join us in this massive effort to improve our beach environment which will help protect our marine life and natural coastal settings.
Participants will get an International Coastal Cleanup t-shirt with Puffer on the front, be provided a trash bag and gloves, and send you on your way to clean up our beautiful Emerald Coast Beaches.
Come out to a park near you and let's work together to make our beaches litter free!
If you are a Corporate Group, School Group, or other Church or Civic Group, please contact Laurie Reichenbach at lauriereichenbach@gmail.com for a beach assignment so that we can place you in a location that needs your help.
