Lot 6 - Justin Gaffrey Mural
After a 12 year career as a Chef and restaurant owner in Walton county Florida,
Justin picked up a paint brush in 2001, and then traded the brush in for a palette
knife and has not put it down since. His paintings are created in a unique process
using heavy impasto acrylics. Some strokes of paint are two inches thick. His
expressionistic style consists of heavy broad strokes of vivid color, representing
local land and waterscapes of Northwest Florida and uses still lifes of colorful
flowers and culinary themes to express his painting. The outcome is brilliant.
