I purchased an Iphone last year and love the phone. One of best things about the switch was the signal was awesome compared to my previous provider. Now it is very spotty and I have to walk outside to make most calls. Any one else experience a change? :bang:

I have AT&T- I get about 4 or 5 dropped calls a day. Some are in the "usual" spots (places on 98, Bay Dr., driving past Christian International), other times it is random. Very aggravating.

Could the phone have issues? Like the antenna being on the fritz?

If not, there is a iPhone hack that can make it work on Verizon. I've seen it in the Mac forums, and on Salon.com under the Machinist.

Good luck! You have the best toys...

I have Verizon and my coverage has definitely decreased in this area. (It's not the phone as it is working great in non Sowal locations.)

For us, AT&T's signal is seldom good at Bud and Alley's and it usually drops in front of Red Fish. I do know that my phone gets better reception than other phones in the family so I think that the phone itself can make a difference. You may want to get your Iphone a checkup to see if the reception can be improved. Are their any recent patches that you can get online?

Maybe we need some antenna towers along 30A?.

How about one in the center of the Seaside Ampitheater? It would only mess up some of the sight lines. And it would stop those pesky dropped calls at B&A. :lolabove:

Personally, the only time I've dropped a call at B&A is when I dropped the PHONE after a couple too many. :D
