I know its funn to go by some new funn name. But, when I meet someone from the board for the first time, it is difficult (for me) to connect that person with their real name because I only know them by Sea Monster or Carpet Bagger or Fish Monger, or whatever... but now I am learning some of your real names via PM, etc., and can finally start to feel like I know them better cause I know their names.

I like my Mermaid, so I would never change it. I do have one other screen name and that's on a travel forum that I use whenever we go to France or Italy (that's pretty well the only focus of www.slowtrav.com). That name is caramello. The "official" line is that it's one of my favorite English candy bars, but the "real" line is that before I snagged Merman, there was a delicious Venezuelan hottie who dated me, and his pet name for me was--you guessed it!--caramello. Spanish for sweet little thing.
