I can't believe I'm asking this...need tattoo shop

Hi!
OK, crazy or not, at 53, I've decided I want to get a tattoo. (just a small one) And I can think of no better place or time to get one than during my vacation to my favorite place in the whole world, SoWal! Can anybody recommend a studio that's really good? If I get one, I would like it to be more like a little piece of art, rather than something that looks cartoonish or like something my grandaughter could draw. I'm thinking about a Celtic designed dragonfly......

Suggestions please??

Being one who has a rather large tattoo, be sure to make sure that
A) You really want it
B) Where you want it
C) What you want

You may have already gone through the process, but I tell people who ask about getting one to wait a month and come back. If they still want it, then, I ask if they know what they want and tell them to wait a month. After 60 days, most have it nailed down. I know that I changed my design twice in the last month before I settled on what I got, and I'm glad I did!

Oh...and make sure you are getting the tattoo for you. There's only one person in the world who has to like it, and that's you!

Maverick's studio by the wing place in Miramar Beach. (by Royal Orchid). I've seen the work from there and it's been beautiful!

XO Graphics in Destin does amazing stuff. Very fine lined and colored beautifully.

Anybody else got any input about Maverick's? I was considering them after viewing some of their work online. I think maybe Maverick himself?
And yes, this has been something I've been thinking about for awhile. I think going thru the life change of a divorce has made me decide that yes, I do want to do this for myself. I love Celtic artwork, and really want something in that style. Maybe 2! A dragonfly on my ankle, and a triskele (3 swirls) on my wrist. It isn't something I'm taking lightly, so that's why I'm looking for recommendations.

I've seen a lot of work that Maverick's has done and it's all been good. They are clean, and friendly. I think they are closed on Tuesday & Wednesdays.
