The South Walton Fire District will be honoring C.H. "Cube" McGee, founder of Seagrove Beach at the Watercolor Fire Station on February 24, 2009 at 11AM.
Cube McGee was the founder of the Seagrove Village Market and Seagrove Beach, Inc., a real estate and development office next to the Market. Cube donated land to the Fire District to erect a Fire Station on 395. The old station is no longer there, and the SWFD would like to honor Cube McGee by dedicating the conference room to him by installing a plaque and a small ceremony at the Watercolor Fire Station.
Cube McGee was community minded and instrumental in many boards and committies in South Walton as well as nutrturing his beloved Seagrove Beach.
The public is invited to attend.
