Camp Helen State Park and the Friends of Camp Helen State Park, Inc., invite you to a unique environmental interpretive program, campfire cooking and a family friendly movie. This impressive series of six movie nights will be held at the historical Camp Helen State Park. Event will start at 5:30 p.m. with an interpretive program led by a Park Ranger, followed by a cookout including hotdogs and s'mores, provided by the Friends of Camp Helen. Each evening will end with a movie in the historic Recreation Hall, where seating is provided. A parent or guardian must accompany children. The event is free but donations are appreciated and will go directly to the Friends of Camp Helen State Park to be used to benefit the park's resource managementC

CAMP HELEN HISTORY TOUR on the first Saturday of each month

COMING UP: July 5, Aug 2, Sep 6, and throughout the year

Camp Helen State Park invites you to our monthly history walk at Camp Helen State Park. Come learn about the early history of the park and local area while wandering on a guided tour around Camp Helen's restored historical buildings. The walks take place the first Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. and last about 45 minutes.

Directions:

  • Camp Helen State Park is located west of Panama City Beach on U.S. 98 at the west end of the Phillips Inlet bridge, just inside Bay County. The entrance is South of U.S. Hwy 98 and approximately six miles west of State Road 79.
