HISTORIC POINT WASHINGTON WALKING TOUR

Free to the public!
Park and meet at the Point Washington United Methodist Church on County Hwy 395.
Walk the old roads of Historic Point Washington. See the ruins of the sawmill that made Point Washington a thriving lumbertown 100+ years ago, the Wesley mansion at Eden State Gardens, the general store, Bay School, the Methodist Church, the Community Cemetery, the ferry landing, and several old houses that give Point Washington its character and historical importance in Walton County.
The walk is approximately one mile long and will be guided in small groups by local residents.
The Historic Walking Tour is free and open to the public, and is organized and sponsored by the Historic Point Washington Association.
