I was in the Bait House in Watercolor the other day with the corporate chef for Watercolor. They are in a beautiful setting (on the lake) with a wonderful and large facility. They have never really advertised, but they are available for special events such as receptions, parties, corporate dinners or lunches...etc. They have a great kitchen and, I believe, reasonable rental pricing. If you have an event taking place I encourage you to check out the Bait House in Watercolor!

The food is great. But the emptiness makes it feel creepy -- you know, the empty restaurant syndrome. If we go to a restaurant that is virtually empty at prime time, we walk out because that sends a big message to us.

I truly hope they can advertise its existence because it is an attractive venue.

It is not a restaurant. It is an event venue with a kitchen.

Where are the rules for that, and when did it become a private club? We walked in twice (the second time was to give them a chance to redeem themselves for an awful first experience, which BTW they didn't). No one asked us if we were in the "club."
