I'll be celebrating San Miguel Day, September 29, today to celebrate the 1528 exploration trip of Panfilo Narvaez and Cabeza de Vaca. It was on or near this day that this doomed expedition probably passed by the shores of SoWal in 1528. Drink a toast today to these early explorers of the Beaches of South Walton. I think some Spanish food and wine today would be in order. Perhaps a stop by La Botana today or tonight would be appropriate. Other suggestions??
