Start planning out your holiday fun with a list of all the best events happening around SoWal that are sure to be a treat!

Oct. 24th | Grand Boulevard Barktoberfest
Dog-Harmony and Grand Boulevard invite you and your furry friend to help in celebrating all things fall at Barktoberfest on Thursday, October 24th from 5-7pm in Grand Park. Attendees and their pets are encouraged to dress in their Halloween best and enjoy a canine-only trick-or-treating event.

Oct. 24th | Eden Gardens Fall Film Series
Eden Gardens Fall Film Series includes three movies in the park in October. It's become a fun neighborhood tradition leading up to Halloween each year. Watching Frogs once again in the very place where it was filmed in 1972. Come out to relax under the live oaks at Eden Gardens State Park and enjoy the movie starting at 6:30pm!

Oct. 24th | Baytowne Cinema: Hocus Pocus
Grab a lawn chair and enjoy a movie under the stars on the lawn at the Village of Baytowne Wharf on the Events Plaza Lawn. Hocus Pocus begins at 6:30PM. Admission is free and open to the public.

Oct. 25th | Local Catch Halloween Bash
Local Catch Bar & Grill in Blue Mountain Beach is hosting its annual Halloween Party on Friday October 25 starting at 8pm. Cadillac Willy will provide the soundtrack for the night. Get ready for prizes, drink specials, dance party,costume contest with cash prizes and a howling good time with lots of local friends.

Oct. 25th | The Hub's Hub-O-Ween
Bring the whole crew out to The Hub for an evening of Halloween fun! Hub-O-Ween begins at 5PM on Friday, October 25th. Families will enjoy trick or treating through The Hub & The Shops of The Hub followed by pumpkin decorating and a DJ Dance Party on the stage.

Oct. 25th | Destin Commons Halloween Haunt
It’s going to be a frightfully fun time for the family on Halloween! Join Destin Commons for a Halloween Haunt on Friday, October 25th from 6-8pm for an eerie event full of kid’s creepy crafts, fantasy face painting, a spellbinding photo booth, trick-or-treating, and a costume contest. Get creative and bring the kids (ages 2 to 12) and dogs, dressed in their bewitching best for the costume contest.

Oct. 26th | Tops'l Resort Monster Dash
Tops'l Beach & Racquet Resort to host the 5th annual Monster Dash 5k & Fun Run. The entire family is invited to participate on Saturday, October 26th. Fun Run, costume contest, food, candy, games, prizes and Silent hugeAuction with 100% of proceeds benefitting Sandcastle Kids. Register HERE

Oct. 26th | Seaside Halloweener Derby Day
The 10th Annual Halloweener Derby takes place on Saturday Oct 26th in Seaside, Florida. Check-in and registration will start at 9:30am with the first races kicking off at 10:00am. Costume contest (open to all breeds) to follow the Championship race. Register your pups at SeasideHalloweenerDerby.com

Oct. 26th | The Beach House Phantom of the Gulf Halloween Party
The Beach House welcomes you to it's first annual Halloween Party! 30A Local Properties invites you to join them for an exciting evening full of ghosts, goblins, cocktails and live entertainment on the pool deck at the Beach House Restaurant in Sandestin on Saturday, October 26th from 7-11PM. The theme is Phantom of the Sea, derived from the sailboat that landed on our beaches mysteriously. Tickets available at Eventbrite for $55. Portion of the proceeds benefit local charities.

Oct. 26th | Rosemary Beach Monstrous Halloween Celebration
Come out to the Monstrous Halloween Celebration & Trick-or-Treating in Rosemary Beach on Saturday, October 26 from 2-5 PM throughout the Town Center. Bring the little ghosts and goblins for trick-or-treating throughout businesses, shops and the Harvest Market Artist’s booths! Enjoy a pumpkin carving & costume contest with prizes. Tour the haunted cemetery…if you dare! Plus see Ohana Institute’s annual Scarecrow Lane and gobble up some goodies from their delicious bake sale.

Oct. 26th | BooLu’s and Trunk or Treat at Lulu's
Enjoy a day full of Halloween festivities and kid’s costume contest at LuLu’s Destin Annual BooLu’s Halloween event. Grab a broomstick and fly in for the fun on Saturday, October 26th 11am-3pm. BooLu’s will have pumpkin decorating, kid’s crafts, inflatable play area, and live music.

Oct. 26th | AJ's Grayton Beach Halloween Costume Contest
The annual AJ's Halloween Costume Contest begins at 9PM on Saturday, October 26th. Come dressed to impress for your chance to win cash prizes. Enjoy drink specials and live music with the Luke Langord Band.

Oct. 26th | Louis Louis Halloween Bash
Calling all ghouls and gals, Louis Louis is having their annual Halloween party on Saturday Oct. 26th at 9pm. Come on out and be who you want to be! Featuring DJ Michael Disciple, drink specials and a costume throw down! Dress to impress costume prizes will be awarded.

Oct. 26th | HarborWalk Village Pub Crawl & Costume Contest
Why let kids have all the fun? Dress up for a night of fantasy and fun at HarborWalks scariest pub-crawl set to take place Saturday, October 26th. Enjoy a bingo-style pub crawl featuring craft cocktails and frighteningly good food from Village restaurants, live music by Tyler Livingston and an adult costume contest at Coyote Ugly to end the night.

Oct. 27th | HarborWalk Village Pumpkinpalooza
Have a Spooktacular time celebrating Halloween on the Harbor! This family-friendly event kicks off at 5:00pm on Sunday, Oct. 27 with a scavenger hunt and FREE kid’s activities. The first 200 to arrive will receive scavenger hunt cards. Village merchants will be providing goodies galore. Visit each shop and restaurant for a treat.

Oct. 31st | Witches of South Walton Charity Ride & Brunch
The 16th annual Witches of South Walton Charity Bike Ride takes place Thursday, October 31! Every year, the Witches of South Walton decorate bikes and fly down Scenic 30A along the Gulf of Mexico in South Walton County, Florida. These SoWal Witches dress to impress, decorate their bikes/brooms and have a wicked fun Halloween morning. Registration is OPEN for Witch Ride 2019: witchride.com

Oct. 31st | Seaside Trick or Treat
It’s time for ghosts, goblins and princesses to go door-to-door collecting candy from the Seaside merchants to feed their sugary appetites on Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 4-6pm. Kids of all ages enjoy the fun. Free and open to the public.Come out on Halloween and visit merchants all around town, hear spooky stories with the Seaside Rep Theatre, and do the monster mash with terrifying tunes in Central Square. It's one of our favorite local traditions at the beach with beautiful (and ghaustly) costumes in the late afternoon lighting - uniquely Halloween on the beach.

Oct. 31st | Grand Boulevard Halloween on the BOOlevard
It’s going to be a frightfully fun time for the family on Halloween! Join Grand Boulevard for Halloween on the BOOlevard on Thursday, October 31st from 4-7pm. Get creative and bring the kids and dogs, dressed in their bewitching best. The event is free and open to the public. Kids can go trick-or-treating in a safe and friendly environment at participating stores throughout Grand Boulevard.

Oct. 31st | AJ's Grayton Halloween Karaoke Party
Think you have what it takes to entertain on the big stage? Care to do it in a costume? Join in the fun on Thursday night from 9pm - 1am as locals, tourists, and staff battle it out at AJ's Halloween Karaoke Party. Be sure to dress in your Halloween best. Cash prizes awarded for best costumes.

Oct. 31st | Baytowne Trick or Treat Street
Calling all ghouls, ghosts, and goblins to the Village of Baytowne Wharf for a spooktacular extravaganza! This Halloween from 6-8pm, Trick or Treat through the Village streets and visit merchants for your favorite treat. Dance on the stage as the DJ plays frighteningly good tunes and end the evening with a spooky fireworks show over the lagoon. Admission is free and open to the public.

Oct. 31st | Redd's Fueling Station Rocky Horror Picture Show
The 7th annual Rocky Horror Picture Show party at Redds Fueling Station in Blue Mountain Beach is not to be missed! Festivities begin at 7PM on Thursday, Oct. 31. Join Dr Frank N Furter, Riff Raff, Rocky and the rest of the costumed gang Rocky Horror Picture Show party! Dress in your favorite character, compete for best costume and come to the most interactive movie experience. Bring your own toast, rice, newspapers. Oct. 31st | The Bay Zombie Stomp
The Biggest Halloween Party in Town is on the North Beach of South Walton - The Zombie Stomp on Thursday, October 31st from 5-10pm. Spooky, scary, cute, or goofy! Wear your best costume to The Bay this Halloween night. It's time to take it over the top with this year's costume. The winner of the adult costume contest will win $500!

Oct. 31st | Stinky's Bait Shack Halloween Bash
It’s going to be a frightfully fun time at the Stinky's Bait Shack Halloween Bash! Get creative and bring your friends. Come dressed in your bewitching best. The party starts at 7PM as the Forrest Williams Band takes the stage. All ghost, ghouls, goblins and merrymaking individuals are welcome.

Oct. 31st | FOOW Dinner Series - Monster Mash
You’re invited to a Halloween-Themed Costume Party at FOOW! The Monster Mash begins at 6:30PM on Thursday, October 31st at Fish Out of Water. This spooky dinner will feature deliciously ghoul-inspired food, such as bone marrow and other mouthwatering delights. Open to the public; $75++ per person includes fun fare and a bone-chilling cocktail. Reservations preferred (call 850.534.5050). ++Service charge and sales tax not included.

Nov. 1st | North Beach Tortilla Company Dia De Los Muertos Fiesta
On November 1, 2019 from 4-10PM, North Beach Tortilla Co. will host its first ever Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) fiesta. This event will feature live music, food and drink specials, and games on the beach. Dance, drink and eat as you honor loved ones who have passed away.

Stinky's Bait Shack is hosting The Witches Brew, a happy hour & registration party on Tuesday, October 29th from 5 - 8PM. Enjoy live music an drink specials as you pick up your packet for the for the 2019 Witches Ride, a benefit for Children's Volunteer Health Network.
