Celebrate World Oceans Day at Gulf World Marine Park in Panama City Beach on Monday, June 8 from 10am-2pm. To celebrate, Gulf World will host with lots of fun activities and special representatives from our local community, including: the National Marine Fisheries, St. Andrew’s Turtle Watch, Science and Discovery Center and more!

Gulf World Marine Park is proud to join hundreds of other educational institutions, conservation organizations, and thousands of individuals in dozens of countries around the world to celebrate our shared ocean. World Oceans Day, held on June 8 each year, is an opportunity to celebrate our world ocean and our personal connection to the sea.

The Ocean Project, an international network of over 1,200 aquariums, zoos, museums, and conservation organizations including Gulf World Marine Park, is working closely with the World Ocean Network to coordinate activities worldwide under the theme “Youth: the Next Wave for Change” with a special focus on getting the young people in our communities inspired to conserve our world’s oceans.
