Wake up and smell the roses with Handful of Thorns, a limited-release session IPA made with fresh red rose petals! Named after Neil Young’s “Love is a Rose,” this unique, complex interpretation of IPA (an increasingly popular style among craft-beer drinkers) will make your senses spin like the LP that inspired it.
The seasonal beer has been a favorite of those who have had the opportunity to try it, with comments on the brew’s drinkable, refreshing flavor. The simple subtle malt bill of Handful of Thorns sets a perfect stage for the floral hop profile, creating a versatile summer IPA with
an ABV of 6.7 percent.
Be among the first to try our new brew at the Handful of Thorns release party on June 27 from 12 to 6 p.m. The Owsley Brothers will provide live entertainment from 3 to 6 p.m., and Grayton Beach Catering will be serving food.
Handful of Thorns joins our Franklin County Oyster Stout, Redneck Rye-viera and Gourdgeous as part of our Artist Series, and Bryan Hand, a Northwest Florida artist specializing in colorful, realistic acrylic paintings, created the label artwork for the beer.
