The Girl Scouts of Walton County is made of all individual troops in the county. We currently have about 8 troops county-wide.
The girls participate in a variety of community events involved in helping others, e.g. donations from cookie sales earned to organizations such as Alaqua Animal Rescue, packing backpacks for needy classmates at Food For Thought, Stock t by Trolley with toys, making gifts and visiting elderly around the holidays, Wreaths Across America, replacing worn out flags on our Veterans gravesites, are just a few.
These girls work hard selling and delivering the delicious cookies that everyone has loved for years. They earn .65 per box which helps their troop cover supplies, badges, activities, events, educational trips, etc.
We all love supporting our local businesses. I am posting this to ask the community of locals to support your local Girl Scout troops.
Right now, we are in need of a nice banners that we can use at events, recruiting, cookie booths, and in parades. We want Walton County to know and love their Girl Scouts.
We will be glad to provide a receipt if necessary for tax purposes.
