The Symposium will present productive sessions with six top-notch, inspirational speakers from around the country. Her morning session, “A Place Called Work: A Kinder, Gentler Workplace,” will discuss our own value, the workplace culture, focusing energy on the things we do best, and creating win-win situations.
At lunchtime, Jill Nichols, Chief Operating Officer of Vera Bradley, will share “The Vera Bradley Story.” In 30 years Vera Bradley has grown from a company of two co-founders to one with more than 2,000 employees and annual sales (2011) of $366 million. Jill will discuss Vera Bradley's core values and caring culture, which led to the creation of the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.
Author, Speaker and Human Performance Coach Jennifer Webb will close the Symposium with “If You Want to Set the World on Fire, Make Sure Your Matches are Lit!” This afternoon session will cover key points that are crucial to success, such as positioning yourself in a man’s world, how to let go of “rules” that get in the way of effective, focused thinking and how to put more joy in your life.
Three breakout sessions, offered in the morning and again in the afternoon, will feature healthy lifestyles, the power of balance, and getting organized.
