I have to admit that I'm the one that encouraged Gary to post here on SoWal. Earlier this week my washer died and I was going to go buy a new one but decided to check on Craig's List for a good used one first.

I found Gary's listings and I called him. Before he tried to sell me something he asked what was wrong with mine. He was able to diagnose my problem (a common one between the motor and gear box btw). He offered to drive to SGB for the call but told me that it was something I could do on my own. He then told me that he would save me the trip all the way over to his shop by meeting me halfway with the part.

After drawing me a diagram of the repair and explainig the steps to me I was on my way, new part in hand! I'm happy to report that I'm back in the land of fresh smelling clothes!

Gary even called to check i had been successful hahahaha!

A repair that could have cost $150 or a replacement that could've been $400 was covered by a $25 dollar part and some sound advice.

I will definately refer peeps I meet to Gary.
