Spend a day (or just a couple hours) exploring some of Walton County’s world-class galleries, eateries and boutiques during Gallery Quest, the event that kicks off the Cultural Arts Association’s 21st annual ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival on Friday, May 1.

From Grand Boulevard to Rosemary Beach and beyond, even businesses not normally known for their artistic flair will get creative for Gallery Quest by showcasing original art of different genres and mediums. Most participants will offer live art demonstrations, special sales, and refreshments.

Participants include Tommy Bahama, The Artists at Gulf Place, Jewel Toffier, Weatherall Fine Art, Gaffrey Art, The Blue Giraffe (2 locations), Aesthetic Clinique, Lily Pads, The Studio Gallery, Big Mama’s Hula Girl Gallery, Ogden Museum of Southern Art at WaterColor, FIRED UP! Paint Your Own Pottery Studio, Ruskin Place Artists Guild, Magpies Fine Jewelry and Other Shiny Things, Newbill Collection by the Sea, Eileen West Gallery, The Art of Simple, Peggy’s Hair Salon & Art Gallery at Eastern Lake and Coop’s Home Furnishings, Arriaga Originals, Gigi’s Fabulous Kids’ Fashions & Toys, Tracery, World Six Studio & Gallery, Bella Flora and Carillon Beach Resort & Inn.

Gallery Quest is an all day event and is free and open to the public. Each participant will have varying hours of operation throughout the day and night.

Details regarding participant hours and specific offerings are outlined at CulturalArtsAssociation.com and in the official ArtsQuest brochure that can be found at the CAA office at 2282 West Scenic Hwy. 30-A in Blue Mountain Beach. No shuttle will be provided this year.

This is tomorrow, folks!!!!

Most of the participating businesses will offer refreshments, specials, beverages, live music, showcased artists and more. I visited most of the stops today, and owners were planting flowers, setting tables and getting out champagne to chill for their guests tomorrow for Gallery Quest.

Get out there and support local business and local artists!!!!

Thanks to all the galleries and businesses who are participating in Gallery Quest!

This is the first time in about 9 years that I will not attend Arts Quest.... :sosad::sosad:

I hope that 5 new people go in my place. If you have never been, you will love it!

Thanks, IBD! You will be missed. I remember seeing you last year in the Village.

I'm starting in Carillon in about an hour and heading east! Hope SoWallers can enjoy at least some part of this today!
