Furniture wanted

Hi ... I am looking for a couple of end table lamps and was hoping someone could recommend a place that sells some real modern kinda funky pieces. I am in Sandestin, but I can travel as far as Panama City. Thanks

If you're talking ultra-modern, we've looked at probably every furniture and lighting store in the area for lamps, and usually end up giving up buying local and going to Modern Furniture - Room & Board instead. Design Within Reach: The Best in Modern Design also has some good stuff.

If you've got friends in Atlanta, Tampa, or Orlando, I'd have them look at IKEA for you too. (Alas, IKEA doesn't have much you can order online)

Thanks Beachmouse... I was just at Ikea last Tuesday, but was not that far along decorating the new place.

Well I guess you just saved me the time driving all over town. Might as well just go to the beach then
