On Nov. 8, Join Wiley Selman at the Coastal Branch Library as he shares his ukulele musicality to inspire novice to advanced players with free ukulele lessons.
The ukulele class met in the children’s section of the library for six sessions with
Selman's previous class session began with 8 students and grew to more than 20. At the conclusion of their six-week stint, the group carried their musical talents to Grand Boulevard and Crystal Bay nursing homes and played “You are my Sunshine,” “This Little Light of Mine,” along with many more.
Wiley dubbed the group “Strummers” and they will continue to meet the second Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in the library. New members are welcome. For more information contact the library at (850) 267-2809.
