Local K-B Toys to close following bankruptcy announcement

Both of the local K-B Toys stores will be closing in the wake of the company declaring bankruptcy last week.

Although store managers are not allowed to disclose any information, the landlords at both locations have been notified.
?We know they?re closing,? said Angela Triplett, public relations manager for Silver Sands Factory Stores. She added that they don?t know what will go in that space at the outlet. She also didn?t have a closing date for the toy store.
At Santa Rosa Mall, the closing of K-B Toys follows the announcement that Ruby Tuesday is not renewing its lease.
Interim mall manager John Rowland said that they are already talking to an apparel retailer about the space occupied by K-B Toys.
?(K-B Toys) has notified all their landlords nationally that they will be closing and liquidating,? Rowland said. ?We anticipate (the closure) to happen sometime in January.
?We?re hopeful that we?ll be able to make a smooth transition.?

I actually broke down and went there last night. The particular items that I needed were still in stock and 30% off.

I have 2 sets of 2 text message wireless for girls 6 and up. Brand new never opened. They are so cute for I would say girls 6-9 who have not started to text message on their cell phones yet. I dont have picture but pm me and I will try to find one. They are $20. per set (each set has 2 text message pads so little girls can text their friends)

Let me know I am going to send them back if no one wants them today. They are from Avon, customer purchased but needed them before they got here.
