The Florida State Parks Foundation and Live Wildly today announced “Explore the Corridor Week,” a statewide public volunteering drive to be held at 40 of Florida’s award-winning state parks between Jan. 27 and Feb. 4, 2024.

Eden Gardens State Park, Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, and Camp Helen State Park will all participate in the event. Each park falls within the footprint of the Florida Wildlife Corridor.
Eden Gardens State Park

When: Tuesday, January 30, 9am - 12pm
Assist with trimming trails and gardens, removing weeds and unnecessary vegetation throughout the grounds and gardens. Register here.
We will meet in the parking lot near the Wesley House. Park Entrance is Free for Corridor Volunteers
Topsail Hill Preserve State Park
7525 W County Hwy 30A
Santa Rosa Beach FL 32459
When: Tuesday, January 30, 10am - 2pm
Essential Eligibility Criteria
Live Wildly - Participants will be picking-up litter in the preserve along highway 98. This will increase the aesthetic of the park and prevent animals in the preserve from possibly ingesting litter. Please bring water and wear closed toe shoes. Meet in Day Use parking lot Register here.
Camp Helen State Park

When: Thursday, February 1, 10am - 12pm
Assist park staff with trimming vegetation along the northwest park boundary line which is approximately 400 yards long .This maintenance keeps the park clean and safe for visitors, and protects the wildland urban interface. This is a great opportunity to bring our community together for a common cause. Register here.
Please meet in the Visitor Center at Camp Helen State Park. Park Entrance is Free for Corridor Volunteers
