Fireworks celebrating Independence Day 2021

Many places along the coast will be hosting professional fireworks shows on the 4th of July including South Walton Beach towns as well as nearby towns. We'll keep an ongoing list here to provide readers, locals and visitors with the latest updates on Independence Day festivities which will include fireworks in the SoWal area.

Update 7/4/21 -Seaside Fireworks postponed to 7/5/21

The South Walton 4th of July Parade is not taking place this year but the Seaside Merchants are making new plans for a day long celebration ending with Fireworks over the Gulf of Mexico.

In lieu of a parade along 30A this year, SEASIDE® is hosting a day of patriotic activities in Central Square. We are excited to have an all-day block party (think of it as a reverse parade) with Merchants storefronts donned in patriotic decor and second-line-style patriotic music performances around town throughout the day, with a special performance by the Rep Theatre. All of this will culminate into what will be the largest fireworks shows not only in Seaside but along the entire Gulf Coast. We hope to celebrate with you!

The Village of Baytowne Wharf
Sandestin

Join us this 4th of July for our spectacular Red, White, and Baytowne celebration! Enjoy LIVE music from Donovan Keith on the Events Plaza Stag from 7pm-9:15pm, followed by a fireworks display that will light up the night sky at 9:15pm. The Village of Baytowne Wharf will also host kids activities including kids crafts, face painting, and balloon sculpting.

Fort Walton Beach Landing

The City of Fort Walton Beach will celebrate Independence Day at the Landing on Sunday, July 4, 2021, from 5-9 p.m. The event is free to the public and includes kid activities, live music and a firework show.

Festivities kick off at 5 p.m. with live music from Miles Flatt and will continue until the firework show over Santa Rosa Sound at 8:45 p.m. A “Kid Zone” will include bounce houses and games. Concessions will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

The Landing is located at 131 Brooks Street SE in Fort Walton Beach. Contact the City of FWB Recreation Department at (850) 833-9576 for more information.
