"How did I get that color?" with Susan Lucas

Join Susan and learn a three step method for mixing just the color you want. You will also learn easy ways to create color schemes for your paintings that are guaranteed to make your paintings better. You will make lots of small (4x6" or 5x7") paintings during the day to practice what you are learning.

Nuno Felted Scarves with Doretha Jones
Saturday, March 17,

Join Doretha for a wonderful day of learning the art of Nuno felting. Participants will use merino wool, silk fibers, sparkle yarns, and silk organza scarves to create beautiful "airy" scarves. Each student will go home with several finished scarves. Bring a brown bag lunch.
Cost is $60 for members plus a $35 supply fee and $70 for nonmembers plus a $35 supply fee.

Explore a range of techniques in this unique Mixed Media Jewelry class taught by Mary K. McGraw from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Participants will be guided using resin, texturing and etching metal, adding fibers, and basic wire wrapping to create pendants and components for earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. Suitable for all skill levels. This class does involve the use of chemicals, such as etchant and resin, so aprons or protective clothing is advised.
Cost is $60 for members plus a $10 supply fee and $70 for nonmembers plus a $10 supply fee.
