Did anyone go here last Saturday and if so, can you give me a rundown on what veggies and fruits you found? I am going to be leaving behind an orchard and large garden I have here in Louisiana once our house is built and we move to Blue Gulf; I am counting on supporting local farmer's market BIG TIME lol! Also, any other info on local produce.

Gidget, regarding additional info on local produce, go to For The Health of It, located in Blue Mtn Beach for some good selections. Not everything is local, but they try to get local organic, when available. You may also try Toni's, north of Grayton Beach.

Last Saturday it poured! No farmers!

I am back in Louisiana. But you can betcha I will support them big time once we have built and move. I am leaving behind 160 acres, orchard, garden, hydroponic greenhouse, etc.... and I eat a mostly raw diet of fruits and veggies - considering I have a small lot and can't garden like I do here, I will be a frequent supporter of any and all farmer's markets in the area lol!

If anyone goes, I'd love to know what they offered. Pics would be fab!
