[FONT=&quot]Escape to Create launches its 20th season of unique literary events on Saturday, Oct. 29 with a daylong program devoted to fans and writers of mystery.
Pulitzer nominated crime writer Ace Atkins, author of the popular Nick Travers series and bestseller "The Ranger," and O. Henry awarded author Elizabeth Stuckey-French, who penned the bestseller "Revenge of the Radioactive Lady" and co-authored Writing Fiction: A Guide to the Narrative Craft, will share the secrets of their craft in a writing workshop, 9 a.m. – noon followed by a book signing at Sundog Books.
There will be a salon reception with readings and discussion 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Both authors are critically praised for fast-paced suspense, vivid characters and powerful descriptions of Florida and the Deep South.
Enrollment is limited to 25. Tickets are $75 each and include the morning workshop and catered evening reception. Call (850) 534-0000.[/FONT]
