The 9th annual Emerald Coast Duck Regatta benefiting the Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast Guild takes sail on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019 beginning at 10AM at the Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. At 1PM approximately 3,000 rubber ducks will race across the Lagoon in the heart of Baytowne, and prizes will be awarded to the owners of the first ducks to cross the finish line, including a $5,000 first place prize!
The event features fun activities for the whole family, including a scavenger hunt, face painting, kids activities, free carousel rides, and the duck race following at 1PM.
Make a donation of $10 or more to the Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast Guild to adopt a duck. Ducks are available for adoption at the Sacred Heart Hospital Gift Shop in Miramar Beach, online at emeraldcoastduckregatta.com or at Baytowne Wharf the day of the event. Adopt one duck for $10, three ducks for $27, six ducks for $50 or 12 ducks for $100.
An UNLIMITED number of ducks will be available for "adoption" up until 12:30 p.m. the day of the event. Adopt ducks as early as 8:00 a.m.
Proceeds from this event will help fund the Heart Cancer Center at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast.
