So Sprint had such terrible ratings of customer service that their name changed to Embarq (though they may say differently), and now Embarq has continued to maintain that crappy level of service, that they hope another name change will change people's perception? Crappy customer service is crappy customer service, regardless of the name on the sign.

CenturyTel bought them out and I guess felt that the Embarq name was of little value. I see some ads for CenturyTel up in Dothan. Seems like they have really cheap DSL.

But that is without your own domain and you are once again thinking that gmail or hotmail will never go away.

If so, then I will change it, but since it's worked for over a decade.............. and moved around 3 states and 2 continents I think it works just fine right now! :D

I don't pay anything and I can check my email anywhere there is internet. Hard to beat that system!

I totally agree. That is why google handles the email on all of my domains. I buy the domain for 10 a year and they do the mail for free. And that is how you keep from having to EVER change your email address.
