Are electric bikes allowed on the beach. We just saw two teenage boys riding full speed down the beach near Blue Mountain!

We encountered 4 adults riding electric bikes along beach yesterday near Watersound, basically forcing us to move out of their way by either going into the water or moving to higher ground, which now puts us on someone’s private beach. Ridiculous!
Kids race around my neighborhood with no shoes or helmet doing about 35mph.
So, watch where you set up at the beach; be aware of double red flags; be aware of purple flag; now be aware of high speed bikes. And spring break and fall break. And high prices. Sorry. We have booked 2 Seaside trips again this year. Ellen
