The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will headline the 75th Anniversary Eglin Air Force Base Air Show will be held on the installation Apr. 10-11, 2010. A variety of aerial performers, static displays, and vendors will be presented.

Air Force Armament Museum at Eglin Air Force Base Fort Walton Beach Destin Florida Airplanes Fighter Jets Bombs Missiles.

Experience the aviation warfare armament from the early days of World War I right through to today's high tech planes and bombs. Inside, you'll find an extensive collection of weaponry and interactive displays that will amaze and intrigue. Outside displays include vintage military aircraft including the fastest plane ever built - the SR-71 Blackbird! Admission is FREE and all are welcome!

From Destin Commons

Drive North over the Mid-Bay Bridge. Turn West (left) onto Highway 20 and follow through Niceville. Turn right onto Highway 85 South and follow past the Okaloosa Regional Airport. You will find the museum appoximately 2 miles past the Airport on the left. From Fort Walton Beach

Take Eglin Parkway North through Shalimar. After passing Shalimar Elementary School, take the next exit (continuing on Highway 85). On the other side of the over-pass is the museum on the right.
