The Friends of Eden pay tribute to the camellia Saturday, Feb. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Eden Gardens State Park in Point Washington, located north of US Hwy 98 via CR 395.

Eden Gardens State Park Camellia Festival
FEB 15 | 10am - 2pm

Visitors are invited to stroll through beautiful camellias in full bloom throughout the park, enjoy a camellia floral arrangement demonstration, learn air layering, (a camellia propagating technique), and camellia waxing for bloom preservation. Visitors may also attend demonstrations on camellias and other gardening topics during the festival, including camellia care demonstration by Marie Harrison, author of numerous gardening books.

10:00 a.m. Air layering demonstration
11:00 a.m. Presentation by Marie Harrison on Camellias
11:30 a.m. Camellia Waxing demonstration
12:30 p.m. Marie Harrison presentation on Camellias
1:00 p.m. Floral arranging demonstration
2:00 p.m. Camellia Waxing demonstration

Camellias, air layered from Eden Gardens plants, will be available from the nursery.

Come spend time in the gardens with your family and friends for the annual Eden Gardens State Park Camellia Festival. Refreshments to be served and live music performed on the grounds by Lucky Mud.
