Constantly inspiring audiences around the world with its electrifying and sincere renditions of chamber music repertoire spanning classical to contemporary masterworks, enhak has been described as frighteningly goodlaser-guidedtalented, and the most fluid and seamless (Tallahassee Democrat). The groups critically acclaimed recital Made in America in NYCs Weill Recital Hall has been praised for its "rock solid rhythmic integrity...strengths in balance, intonation, and musicality and described as a polished, yet spontaneous performance" (The New York Concert Review). The first-prize winner of the Yellow Springs Chamber Music Competition (2009) and the International Chamber Music Ensemble Competition at Carnegie Hall (2008), enhakregularly performs throughout the worlds most exciting venues, including at the OK Mozart Festival, Young-San Artist Series and PanMusic Festival (both in South Koreas Seoul Arts Center), as well as the Promising Artist of the 21st Century Series in Costa Rica. A staunch advocate of new music, enhakregularly collaborates with leading composers such as Libby Larsen, Peter Lieuwen, and Edward Knight who have written for and/or dedicated music to the group. enhakhas recorded extensively and can be heard on NPR stations across the country as well as from its upcoming CDs on the Emeritus and Naxos labels.
Awarded violinist and recording artist Benjamin Sung is concertmaster of the Fargo-Moorehead Symphony Orchestra and is a faculty member at both Minnesota State UniversityMoorehead and North Dakota State University. He is also founder and past artistic director of Clefworks, a teaching through performance initiative based in Montgomery, AL.

Thom Gossom is inspirational, motivational, fun and stirring. Through his unique oratorical style, dramatic flair and audience participation Gossom presents An Evening With . . . as a dramatic motivational performance interspersed with speeches, monologues and excerpts from his own writings.

Thom Gossom is an actor, writer, and communications professional. Born in Birmingham Alabama, Gossom received his Bachelor of Arts in communication from Auburn University where he was the second Black Auburn football player and perhaps the first Black athlete to walk on and earn a scholarship in the Southeastern Conference. He later went on to earna Master of Arts in communication from The University of Montevallo. After a couple of cups of coffee in the NFL, Gossom began his career at Bellsouth in the office of Public Relations. In 1987, Gossom struck out on his own, starting his own PR Firm to supplement his writing and acting adventures. A self-described working actor, Gossoms, theatre roles include, My Children, My Africa; Fences; American Buffalo; and Glen Gary Glen Ross. He has appeared on television in the recurring roles of city councilman Ted Marcus in In The Heat Of The Night, Judge Blake Winters in Boston Legal, Judge Garamedian in Close to Home, and as J.R. Ride in Jack and Bobby. He starred as the title character, Israel, in the Emmy winning episode of NYPD Blue entitled Lost Israel. Other television credits include guest star roles in CSI, Cold Case, Without A Trace, The West Wing, and ER. Film credits include, Fight Club, Jeepers Creepers 2, Miss Evers Boys, The Chamber, and Miracle in The Woods.
Gossoms writing credits include his critically acclaimed one-man show, Speak of Me As I Am and his published memoir chronicling his role in collegiate football history, Walk-On: My Reluctant Journey To Integration. A moving tale about his experience in the history of sports integration, Walk-On is neither a simple football story, nor is it simply a race story. Walk-On is the story of a young and gifted athlete who dared to enter where he was uninvited and often unwelcome. Gossom has also written articles and columns for The Birmingham News, The Birmingham Times, Fun and Stuff Magazine, and Down Home Magazine.

Reid will read from his new novel TIME, which was written in February, 2010 during his Escape to Create residency. Reid will also share some of the profound thoughts he had during last year's residency--thoughts that did not make it into his novel. TIME, Reid's third novel, was released by NewSouth Books a few days before Christmas.
Roger Reid is the producer of the award-winning Discovering Alabama series from the Alabama Museum of Natural History in cooperation with Alabama Public Television.
