Often we only hear from dissatisfied customers, especially when it comes to medical care. But I had great experiences with two local docs recently, and wanted to let sowallers who may be looking for a new doc know about them. By the way, these docs were referred by others on sowal in earlier posts.
My son saw Dr. Tommy John (family practice) with Sacred Heart Medical Group a couple of weeks ago, who ordered blood work, then called me himself to discuss results at great length. Also took time during our visit to discuss Critter Jr.'s medical issues. I did not have to wait long either for the appointment nor in the waiting room once at the appointment. His nurse was friendly and professional, as well. Mr. Critter also saw him last week and was impressed, as well. Thorough, friendly and professional.
I saw Dr. Melinda Graham (ob/gyn) this week, who also called me personally with test results once received (and earlier than expected). She also took time with me during my appointment to discuss each of my health concerns. She is both conservative and progressive. Progressive because of her willingness to work with bio-identical hormones, and conservative in that she errs on the side of caution when it comes to potential problems (hence the test). Her staff was also great.
What a relief to find docs we are all happy with, right from the start. So thanks to those who recommended them on sowal. You were right!
