The event will begin at 7PM and will include live music all night long, plus children's activities, street performers, and a spectacular fireworks display over the Gulf at midnight to ring in 2011!

Seaside is proud to present Dawes as one of our two artists performing during Countdown SEASIDE! on New Year?s Eve. This free performance will feature another very special guest, whom we?ll announce on Tuesday. Dawes' blend of classic 1970s folk-rock and contemporary flair made the band's album North Hills an instant hit, forcing it onto everyone's radar. The opening song, "Western Skyline," was named one of the best songs of 2009 by Rolling Stone magazine. We are thrilled to announce Truth & Salvage Co. as headliner for the Countdown SEASIDE! New Year?s Eve Celebration. The six musicians of Truth & Salvage Co. boast four lead singer/songwriters, each with a unique story and voice. Prior to forming Truth & Salvage Co., the members have performed and collaborated with well-known acts such as Jack Johnson, My Morning Jacket and Rogue Wave. Truth & Salvage Co. have toured extensively with The Black Crowes and with the hugely popular Avett Brothers.
