DIY Coastal Dune Lakes Clean-Up Day
Wednesday, July 21 from 9am to 11am

Step 1: Pick your favorite Coastal Dune Lake (by land or by water)

Step 2: (BYOB) Bring your own bucket, mess bag, reusable gloves and trash pickers

Step 3: Place all trash collected at the closest Walton County TDC trash collection area of the selected Coastal Dune lake.

Trash will be collected by Walton County TDC workers after 11:00am.

This is cool. All trash in the lakes is bad but some of the worst I've seen is trash washing in from the Gulf and getting trapped in the outfalls, especially after storms. I recommend starting there and/or along 30A and other roads that border the lakes.
