have you found someone to clean your house yet? I may be interested and, of course, would need to see your house and discuss your needs before quoting a price... thanks!

..Seems like a good place to repost my thread about choosing responsible cleaners. Of course the natural cleaner part of my post depends on your preference, but choosing a legitimate company is very important.
Whether or not you contact us, I would like for you to choose a safe dependable cleaner. We legitimate companies need to stick together, and our industry needs to maintain a good reputation. Good luck with your search. :)

A few tips for hiring a good cleaning company:

Remember, It is important to always ask the cleaning company you hire for proof of insurance, bonding, licensing, etc.. A business that is not legitimate may cause you more problems than it is worth.

If your "under the table" cleaner does not pay their taxes, you become their employer, and are responsible for paying their social security taxes as well as unemployment taxes. Not to mention workers comp, you could be held liable as their employer if they are injured on the job.

Also, a lot of companies hire independent contractors to do the job because it saves on workers comp, and other expenses. These workers are not covered under the company's insurance, and need to carry their own insurance.

Always ask for references, and follow up on them.

Make sure the company and or employees know about the products they use, and the surfaces they use them on. This may seem daunting, but you will probably get a good idea whether or not they know what they are talking about just by asking a few questions.

Don't sign a long term contract for residential cleaning. There is no need for it, the quality of the work should be able to keep you on it's own.

You want a company who puts your safety first. Many cleaners are dangerous, and frankly have no business in your home. Many ingredients in harsh cleaners have been tied to cancer, asthma, birth defects, and the list goes on. Finding green cleaners take
s a little more work and research, but it is worth it.

Meet in person. It is important to have a good rapport and maintain good lines of communication.

Thank you for taking the time to read these few tips, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
