La Cocina Mexican Grill and Bar of Seacrest Beach is celebrating CINCO DE MAYO in style, while also attempting to break a​

Guinness World Record for hosting a Tequila tasting!

La Cocina's Cinco de Mayo Festival will be held outside in front of the restaurant on the village green, from​

11am to 9:00 pm​

on Saturday May 5[SUP]th[/SUP] 2012

​

Traditional Mexican food will be served in this authentic style street festival with the tequila tasting starting at 5pm.​

We will attempt to break the current record of 341 people tasting at one time.

​

DJ Mr. Brently will be spinning your favorite Spanish beats and there will be face painting and other fun for the kids.​

Enjoy $5 margaritas and $10 beef or chicken fajitas.

​

For those 21 and older, we will be selling refillable Jose Cuervo Drink Balls for $80. Each ball holds nearly 20 of our famous La Cocina margaritas. Tequila samples will be offered throughout the day by the "Jose Cuervo Promo Girls".

​

Members of the South Walton Volunteer Firefighters will be on hand as well. Donations will be collected to assist Danny "Questo" Margagliano and his family after he tragically broke his neck while diving earlier this month.​

Everyone is welcome to come enjoy the fun!!!​

Of course there will be Tequila! Trying to break the Guiness World Record for most people at a Tequila Tasting! It's going to be lots of fun! Wear your best Sombrero for the "SI SOMBRERO" contest ! There will be fun activities for the rug rats, too! All the tequila comes in real handy if you have only 10 minutes of tolerance per child, like myself!

The food, of course, will be yummy as usual!
