Family, friends, and former students will gather at Trebeache Restaurant in Blue Mountain Beach to celebrate the wonderful life of Kay Rickman on Saturday September 8 at 2:30pm.
Katherine "Kay" McMasters Rickman, age 68, of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018 with her family be her side.
Kay retired to Santa Rosa Beach after teaching 20 years at Davidson High School Gifted Program in Mobile,Al. She was awarded 2 National Endowment for the Humanities grants to study in Italy and France plus was Alabama Secondary Teacher of the year in 1996.
She and husband Tom Rickman have enjoyed the last 11 summers in Asheville,NC. The Rickmans are partners in Stinky's restaurants.
