It's camp time again!

Join us on Tuesday evening, January 27th, at 7 pm, at the Seaside Repertory Theatre to watch camp films, meet with the camp directors, talk to current campers, and learn about how your kid can have an amazing summer. Last summer, 6 SoWal area kids went to camp and had a ball.

This is a great opportunity to get a good "feel" of a summer camp experience no matter if you are considering camp this summer or for future summers.

For more info, PM me with your contact info!

Lots of info and pics on these websites:

From the Travel Schedule section of the Mondamin website:

Local Area Contacts and Winter Travel Schedule
There are camp alums in every state and in many foreign countries? there?s almost surely someone near you who?s been to camp here! We try to have a contact in as many cities as possible so that families who are considering us can find someone nearby to talk with about camp. All of the folks on this list have attended Mondamin or Green Cove themselves, and/or have children who are campers. They?d be happy to hear from you, talk camp, answer questions, and can probably put you in touch with other families from the area.
We do camp presentations in many areas; when a date is scheduled for us to have a showing in an area, we?ll list that date under ?Date of Presentation? on this page. This is an opportunity for families considering camp to meet the directors, see the camp video and other information on the camps, and to meet others who are considering camp or who have been there already. We usually have current and past campers in attendance, as well as staff members from the area? so it?s a reunion of sorts as well as a chance for ?new? to meet ?old?. We send invitations to anyone we think might be interested? but an invitation isn?t necessary! We?d love to have you come, and bring friends who'd also be interested. (It would be nice to call and let the host know you're coming, but it's not necessary). If you?d like camp information, whether you can attend the showing or not, feel free to call us here at camp (800 688-5789), or email us.

Just received a big stack of camp DVDs in the mail. If you can't make the meeting next Tuesday, let me know and I will get a DVD to you. Or, if you are researching camps for future summers, add this DVD!

Also, the economy has not gone unnoticed by Mondamin and Green Cove. Payment plans and financial aid are available. See the camp website and/or contact for details.

I will say summer camp is worth every penny- meeting kids from all over the world, having positive influence and mentoring from exceptional counselors, experiencing nature and learning outdoors skills, and just being a kid- it's priceless. The bonus is having your child exposed to people and life outside our small little world here- it is good to branch out a bit!

We used to have such a great time at summer camp!
My grandfather, aunt, father, 2 older cousins, myself, and my brother all went to the same camp and most of us returned as staff after our camper days were over!

I never did the traditional summer camp. I was in the boyscouts so we always went to that and once we were of servitude age we became counselors. One year we even did the national jamboree, that was really cool. Ever meet a boyscout with a lip plate?

Greencove

I enjoyed three great summers at green cove in the early 80's. The program was excellent and the grounds are beautiful. I first acquired my passion for horses and riding at this camp.

Love to see you supporting it!!
