“Outdoor Magic – A Plein Air Show”

CALL TO ARTISTS!
Plein Air is French for “outdoors”. Plein Air painters, working on location, seek to capture the specific light of a particular place and time. Changing light and weather challenge the artist to create in a few hours the impression of the scene to share with viewers.
"Outdoor Magic - A Plein Air Show" opens January 24, 2014 at the Northwest Florida State College, South Walton Center, 5-7 PM, and runs till March 14, 2014.
This show is open to all CAA member artists who paint outside on location. Plein Air artwork should be 80% completed at the location and any medium will be accepted. Please submit work completed since 1/1/2011.
Artists may submit up to four pieces of art of any medium. No size larger that 30” on one side. Artwork that is accepted must be ready for gallery installation, framed with heavy wire securely attached to the back, or painted in canvas with a 1 ½ “ wrap. No sawtooth hangers.
The A+ART Committee will make selections and all decisions are final.
