Call for participants:

University of Florida IFAS and the Friends of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park invite you to join us on April 16th for the third annual Walton County Earth Day Festival at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park.

We are looking for organizations to host an educational interactive booth at the event, sponsorships, and silent auction items. Attached is the sponsorship/registration form. Please pass on to other groups that may be interested in participating. We attract over 600 visitors to this event yearly and it has been received very well by the community and visitors. Please consider participating this year.

We went last year ! I found out about Glendale Memorial Nature Preserve - I'd have never known.

I would love to make a suggestion: NO LOUD MUSIC! Here we were at a beautiful park in the middle of Nature and the music was SO dang loud I couldn't even think. In this day of constantly being "plugged in" I think an event such as this can do without any music - let Mother Nature provide a nice quiet background. It would do a lot of the folks good to have a breather from noise. SO if you can get that suggestion to anyone I'd be much obliged :)
