The third annual Bluewater Bay Cultural Arts Festival is coming up Saturday April 4, 10am-6pm, at the Bluewater Bay Marina in Niceville, Florida.
The Bluewater Bay Cultural Arts fest is a unique event featuring local and regional artists, covering a large spectrum of art mediums including watercolors, glass art, custom skim boards and long boards, folk art, one of a kind jewelry, photography, classical guitar children’s activities and more.
Brett Hinely, owner of the Bluewater Bay Marina Complex, states, “We have been host to various artists and designers in the past and we are excited to provide this large scale venue for the community to enjoy various local and regional artists. The Bluewater Bay Marina is the ‘North Shore’s destination for the entire family and epitomizes the Florida lifestyle.”
The Bluewater Bay Marina will host a Cultural Arts Fest kickoff party on Thursday, April 2nd from 6-9pm at LJ Schooners Dockside Restaurant. LJ Schooners, located at the Bluewater Bay Marina Complex, will be transformed into a gallery of art. Adorned with the artwork of nine, jury selected artisans, LJ Schooners Dockside Restaurant, LJ Schooners Oyster Bar and the Bluewater Bay Marina Complex Ship store will open all of their hatches and doors for an artist “meet and greet”. Schatzi + The String Boffin, the sibling duo comprised of Dannica Lowery(Best Female Vocalist-Beachcomber Music Awards 2015) and Ben Parsons, will regale the crowd with their “FOLKED UP” guitar and mandolin hits.
Grayton Beer Company will conduct a beer tasting from 3-5 pm on the afternoon of the Art Fest. Sample their 30-A Beach Blonde, the crisp White Dunes, The Grayton Beer Pale Ale and many others from their South Walton brewery.
The Bluewater Bay Marina Cultural Arts Festival is free and open to the public. Fest hours are from 10am to 6pm.
