Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show: All you need to know | pnj.com | Pensacola News Journal

It's time for the Blue Angels annual homecoming show at Pensacola Naval Air Station, the last performance of the Naval flight demonstration team for 2010.

The Blue Angels perform Thursday through Saturday, and are expected to thrill thousands of fans with their aeronautical skills. Front and back gates open at 8 a.m. each day. The shows start at 9:40 a.m. daily, with the Blue Angels performing at 2 p.m.
Gates open at 8 a.m. today, Friday and Saturday.
? Shows start at 9:40 a.m. all three days. The Blues take flight at about 2 p.m. each day.
? Today, a special night show starts at 4:30 p.m. The Blues will NOT fly in the night show.
? Admission and parking for all shows is free.
? Areas will be reserved for the physically challenged and wheelchair access.
? Food and memorabilia will be available at numerous concession stands.
? Most vendors are independent contractors and may not accept checks or credit cards. Taking cash is recommended.
? ATMs are available on the grounds.
? The aircraft can be VERY noisy! Young children especially need ear protection. Grown-ups should probably consider it, too.
? It can be windy on the tarmac. Layers of clothes are recommended.
? The performance schedule will be determined at showtime. The Blues take flight at about 2 p.m. "Fat Albert" will immediately precede the Blues.
