Santa Rosa Beach, FL Friends of the Walton County Coastal Branch Library are sponsoring a children’s reading program. All children are encouraged to visit the library to record books they have read till April 12, 2012.
The object is to involve children and their caregivers in reading by earning paper honey bees to buzz over to their bee hive to make honey. With every book read, children are invited to pick up a paper honey bee to color for hanging from the ceiling of the children’s room to build a beautiful display.
All participants are invited to celebrate reading success with aBEE A READER PARTY scheduled April 12 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. in conjunction with National Library week. Please tell your friends to join us for BEE A READER reading celebration at your library.
