Interested in volunteering to help keep our beaches clean? Meet current Beach Ambassadors at the Coastal Branch Library Tuesday, June 18th at 6:30PM for a training session. We’ve got a seat saved for you.

Come join Volunteer Beach Ambassadors out on our beaches, as they meet, greet, and educate our visitors and locals. As a community, we must stand together and help our guest become aware of beach etiquette, County Codes related to beach activities, the importance of #leavenotrace and#cleandarkflat. If we, as Walton County citizens, who love our natural environment will stand together as a team in this effort, we can win over our guests with each positive encounter that we have.

There is a $5 fee if you would like to join Friends of South Walton Sea Turtles, a non-profit 501(c)(3), dedicated to Turtle conservancy through education.

Children are welcome to attend for free and become JVBA-T and work with you to earn service hours for school, church, scouts, etc.

Additional Volunteer Beach Ambassador Training Dates:
June 18th, July 17th, Aug. 14th | 6:30 - 9PM

For more information or to register early contact Laurie at lauriereichenbach@gmail.com

The library is located at 437 Greenway Trail off Hwy. 331 South. Follow South Walton Coastal Branch Library on Facebook for updates and events.
